A newly married couple checked into a luxury hotel for their honeymoon.<\/p>\n
The husband, trying very hard to look romantic and sophisticated, dimmed the lights, opened a bottle of sparkling juice, and said with a dramatic smile:<\/p>\n
“Darling, tonight is all about you. Just tell me your deepest wish.”<\/p>\n
His wife blushed and replied,<\/p>\n
“Honestly? I just want a night I’ll never forget.”<\/p>\n
The husband puffed out his chest.<\/p>\n
“Consider it done.”<\/p>\n
A few minutes later, he disappeared into the bathroom to freshen up.<\/p>\n
Ten minutes passed.<\/p>\n
Then fifteen.<\/p>\n
Then twenty.<\/p>\n
Finally, the wife knocked on the door.<\/p>\n
“Honey, are you okay in there?”<\/p>\n
A nervous voice answered,<\/p>\n
“Yes… just preparing!”<\/p>\n
Another ten minutes passed.<\/p>\n
The wife knocked again.<\/p>\n
“What exactly are you preparing?”<\/p>\n
The husband opened the door slightly and whispered,<\/p>\n
“I watched several videos about being a perfect husband.”<\/p>\n
“And?”<\/p>\n
“Well, one expert said confidence is everything.”<\/p>\n
“That’s good advice.”<\/p>\n
“Then another said patience is the key.”<\/p>\n
“Also good.”<\/p>\n
“And then a third one said to leave all your worries outside the bedroom.”<\/p>\n
The wife nodded.<\/p>\n
“So what’s the problem?”<\/p>\n
The husband sighed.<\/p>\n
“I’ve been standing in here for thirty minutes trying to figure out how to leave my worries outside.”<\/p>\n
The wife laughed.<\/p>\n
“Just come out already.”<\/p>\n
The husband looked relieved.<\/p>\n
“Thank goodness! Because my biggest worry is that I’ve been in this bathroom so long that you’ve fallen asleep!”<\/p>\n
The wife burst out laughing and said,<\/p>\n
“Relax. If you spend less time studying and more time being yourself, we’ll both have a much better honeymoon.”<\/p>\n
The husband smiled.<\/p>\n
“You know, that’s probably the smartest thing anyone has said tonight.”<\/p>\n
She grinned.<\/p>\n
“Good. Now come out before housekeeping starts charging rent for the bathroom.”<\/p>\n
And according to hotel staff, the loudest sound from that honeymoon suite that night wasn’t romance\u2014<\/p>\n
