Last week, MIL invited us to her 60th birthday.<\/p>\n
The party was held in a large rented hall filled with gold balloons, loud laughter, and dozens of relatives I hadn\u2019t seen in years. The moment we walked in, I felt the familiar weight settle on my shoulders. Conversations quieted for a second.
