My husband and I were heading out for dinner, so we put the cat outside and called an Uber.<\/p>\n
Right as we stepped out, the cat dashed back inside. My husband ran in to grab her.<\/p>\n
Not wanting the driver to think the house was empty, I casually said,
\u201cHe\u2019ll be right back\u2026 just saying goodnight to my mother.\u201d<\/p>\n
A minute later, my husband jumps in, out of breath, and says:<\/p>\n
\u201cSorry! That stupid thing was hiding under the bed\u2026 I had to jab her with a hanger, grab her by the neck, wrap her up, and throw her outside!\u201d<\/p>\n

The driver slowly looked at me in the mirror.<\/p>\n
