A group of nuns decided they needed a little \u201cmodern experience,\u201d so one Friday night they quietly slipped out of the convent and headed to the cinema.<\/p>\n

At the ticket counter, the young cashier looked surprised. \u201cSisters\u2026 what kind of movie would you like to watch?\u201d<\/p>\n

The head nun adjusted her veil and said calmly, \u201cWe\u2019d like something\u2026 a bit exciting<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cashier, trying not to laugh, handed them tickets to a late-night romantic film that was known for being\u2026 let\u2019s just say, very expressive<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Halfway through the movie, one nun leaned over and whispered, \u201cSister Mary, is it just me, or is it getting warm in here?\u201d<\/p>\n

Another fanned herself with the program. \u201cIt\u2019s not the heater, dear\u2026 it\u2019s the plot<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Suddenly, during a particularly steamy scene, the head nun stood up and cleared her throat loudly. The entire theater went silent.<\/p>\n

She turned to the group and said, \u201cAlright, Sisters\u2026 we\u2019ve seen enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then she paused\u2026 smiled just a little\u2026 and added:<\/p>\n

\u201cNext time, we\u2019re sitting in the front row<\/em>\u2014for better\u2026 clarity<\/em>, of course.\u201d<\/p>\n
