Diann Bankson was Frank Fritz\u2019s longtime partner. His turbulent divorce led to alcoholism, unemployment, and health risks. Even though they are no longer together, their time together left an indelible mark on them.<\/p>\n

Frank Fritz, the host of \u201cAmerican Pickers,\u201d was 25 years old when he first met Diann Bankson. The couple dated intermittently before getting engaged in 2017. In 2018, they bought an Iowa farmhouse and moved in together a year later.<\/p>\n

Their relationship soured in November of that year, when Bankson claimed to have \u201cwalked in\u201d on Fritz and \u201cfound him in bed with another woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fritz revealed in a conversation that Bankson had betrayed him and had even gotten a tattoo to remind him of it. But he said he still wanted to marry her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was going to get married, I bought a house and a large expensive ring,\u201d Fritz said after learning that his fiancee had been seeing someone else for the previous 2.5 years.<\/p>\n

Fritz stated, \u201cShe is the cheater, which is why I got a tattoo saying, \u201cOnce a cheater, always a cheater,\u201d as a reminder not to repeat \u201cthe same mistake.\u201d He went on to say that Bankson had \u201ccost\u201d him a lot of money.<\/p>\n

He began drinking to help heal his broken heart. He claimed that was how he dealt with his breakup. As a result of this, he lost a lot of weight. \u201cI gave it my best shot,\u201d Fritz admitted. I tried to drown her in booze.<\/p>\n

Because his previous relationship with Bankson had \u201cstung badly enough,\u201d he decided to put off dating for a while while he worked on quitting drinking.<\/p>\n

He also suffered losses at work following the divorce. According to the Sun, he will no longer host \u201cAmerican Pickers\u201d on the History Channel after March 2020.<\/p>\n

Fritz claimed that his absence was due to health issues and that he intended to return to the show once the effects of his back surgery had healed. Fritz expressed his desire to re-watch the show. I\u2019m ready to return to the program now that I\u2019ve fully recovered.<\/p>\n

Fritz claimed that the show had made no definitive decision about his return. He did, however, say that a showrunner had contacted him and promised to bring him back.<\/p>\n

Despite the fact that Fritz has been a part of the show for ten years, there are \u201cno plans\u201d for him to return as a host, according to TMZ.<\/p>\n

In addition to declining to return to his show, his ex-lover Bankson revealed her new man, an engineering administration manager named Eric Longlett. In a social media post about him, she gushed about how lucky she was to be with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe took me to witness Elton John\u2019s Yellow Brick Road Farewell Tour,\u201d she captioned a photo of herself with Longlett at the concert. I\u2019m a lucky girl. I adore you, babe oxo.<\/p>\n

Fritz was admitted to the hospital on July 4, 2022, after suffering a stroke. He was discovered on the floor of his house by a friend, who then dialed for help. The 911 call, on which his companion stated, \u201che might be having a seizure, I\u2019m not sure,\u201d was obtained by The US Sun.<\/p>\n

Fritz\u2019s father, Bill Fritz, told reporters that his son was doing well and improving every day.<\/p>\n

However, his rehabilitation did not go as well as the doctors had hoped. He was placed under guardianship and sent to a nursing home after being discharged from the hospital.<\/p>\n

On August 18, 2022, his \u201clongtime friend\u201d requested and received approval for an emergency appointment for temporary guardianship and conservatorship on his behalf, according to rumors.<\/p>\n

His acquaintance was appointed as his guardian, and the bank was tasked with managing his finances as his conservator.<\/p>\n

As his conservator, the bank would be responsible for all payments to his care facility, including daily costs, health insurance, maintenance, and property taxes. He would require appropriate transportation for activities and doctor\u2019s appointments, which the bank would have to ensure.<\/p>\n

His friend had to submit a \u201cinitial care plan\u201d for him in order to be his guardian, and he has participated \u201cin decision-making since the stroke.\u201d<\/p>\n

To accomplish this, his guardian must make decisions about his living situation, place of residence, health, and healthcare needs; encourage participation in any activities; and maintain communication with family members and potential romantic interests. As his guardian, he would also be required to provide a yearly report.<\/p>\n

According to his paperwork, his condition was deteriorating and he was unable to make self-adequate decisions, \u201cwithout which physical injury or sickness may result.\u201d<\/p>\n

Documents revealed that he was in far worse shape than previously thought, and that he was unable to \u201cmake, communicate, or carry out important decisions about his own financial affairs.\u201d<\/p>\n

His guardian must make decisions for him until he is well enough to \u201cget treatment for his injuries\u201d and capable of doing so.<\/p>\n

The court determined Fritz requires a guardian to protect his health in the future. The court ruled that \u201cappointment of a guardian and conservator is required to prevent him from suffering immediate harm.\u201d<\/p>\n
