{"id":2109,"date":"2024-10-10T21:48:04","date_gmt":"2024-10-10T16:48:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/us\/?p=2109"},"modified":"2024-10-10T21:48:04","modified_gmt":"2024-10-10T16:48:04","slug":"popular-restaurant-closed-doors-permanently-for-customers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/us\/popular-restaurant-closed-doors-permanently-for-customers\/","title":{"rendered":"Popular Restaurant Closed Doors Permanently For Customers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mister C\u2019s Beach Bistro, known for serving food and drinks with an ocean view in Allenhurst, is closing.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant\u2019s last day will be Sunday, Oct. 20, said Karen Marzulli, who has run the restaurant with business partner Chic Perrotto since 2006.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-26806\" src=\"https:\/\/expertswatch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/fosusaofsdfsa.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 310px) 100vw, 310px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/expertswatch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/fosusaofsdfsa.jpg 310w, https:\/\/expertswatch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/fosusaofsdfsa-300x231.jpg 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"617\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They are at the end of their lease on the 200-plus-seat restaurant, which adjoins Allenhurst Beach Club. Both are owned by the borough.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\">\n<div id=\"gpt-passback2\" data-google-query-id=\"CN7U_oqhhIkDFfFeFQgd5oko5w\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all good,\u201d said Marzulli, 67, of Long Branch. \u201cThis is not a sad closing. We\u2019ve known this date for 10 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt did come faster than we thought, though,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Mister C\u2019s, known for dishes like ahi tuna nachos, tuna tartare, and fish tacos, got its start as a restaurant in Deal in 1991 before opening at Allen Avenue and Ocean Place. The beachfront restaurant was destroyed by superstorm Sandy in 2012; Marzulli and Perrotto, 87, of Ocean Township, rebuilt and reopened in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Perrotto \u2014 the \u201cMister C\u201d in Mister C\u2019s Beach Bistro \u2014 retired last year from a decades-long career that also included restaurants and bars in Asbury Park and Brielle. Both he and Marzulli feel it is time to move on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI retired, Karen has some other things she\u2019s getting into, and she didn\u2019t want to tie herself up here by herself,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s too much work for one person.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cI\u2019m not doing it without him,\u201d Marzulli said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As for what might replace Mister C\u2019s Beach Bistro, the borough of Allenhurst is accepting proposals for a prospective new tenant through Wednesday, Nov. 6.<\/p>\n<p>Mister C\u2019s will be open for lunch and dinner Wednesdays through Sundays until closing day, when Marzulli and Perrotto are planning an all-day buffet and half-priced drinks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust come by, have a little bite, say goodbye to the staff,\u201d she said. \u201cWe want to thank all of our great customers and staff over the years for being our family and for making us successful.
