When a child goes missing, more often than not, the community bands together in an effort to find the child and reunite it with its worried family. When stories like this turn up, you always hope they have a good ending with a reunification of the family or just a positive outcome in general.<\/p>\n

There are times when these cases are not solved, and the story languishes in peoples\u2019 minds for years to come. Like the story of Madeleine McCann, even decades after it happened, people remember her but do not know what happened to her. Her family still hopes that she will be found one day.<\/p>\n

Then there are those stories that end with a tragic ending. The stories where the child is found, but they are not alive. This, unfortunately, is one of those stories. Keep reading to know more of the details about Kennedy Kean Shroer.<\/p>\n

There is nothing easy about cases involving <\/span>missing children<\/a>. Police found the remains of Kennedy Jean Schroer in her adoptive parents\u2019 backyard and suspect the little girl has been dead for four years.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

Kennedy Jean Shroer and her two sisters were adopted by another family in 2019 after their biological mother lost custody of them. At the time, their biological mother was hopeful that her daughters would have a better life with their new adoptive family in Kansas, USA.<\/p>\n

But that was not to be. On September 11, 2024, Kennedy Jean Shroer was found buried in the garden of her adoptive family\u2019s home. DNA tests confirmed that the remains belonged to little Kennedy. The\u00a0police<\/a>\u00a0suspect that the girl died in November 2020, when she was six years old at the time of her death.<\/p>\n

Due to the advanced decomposition of her body, no cause of death has been determined, but the police are now investigating the case further. However, no suspects have been arrested yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile we understand the desire to hold people accountable, we need to get this right, not just fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

The birth mother of Kennedy Jean Shroer \u2013 who was named Natalie Garcia before her adoptive parents changed her name \u2013 is devastated. She is now fighting to regain custody of her two other daughters, who are still living with the adoptive parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want them to get the therapy and love they need from their real family, where they belong,\u201d says the mother, Christa Helm, to KSN.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe understand that many in the public may be confused as to why no one has been arrested in this case,\u201d says the Rose Hill Police Department in a press release, and continues:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe understand that many in the public might be confused how an arrest in this case has not been made, that is completely understandable,\u201d the police said. \u201cWhat we would like to convey is that we have one chance to gather as much information as possible, to find out what happened to this child and to tell her story.\u201d<\/p>\n
