Los Osos High School dancer and\u00a0America\u2019s Got Talent<\/a><\/em>\u00a0contestant Emily Gold, 17, has tragically passed away. On Friday, Sept. 13, Emily was found dead, as confirmed by the San Bernardino Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

The Southern California teenager, who recently competed on\u00a0AGT<\/em>\u00a0with her team, was found dead by suicide on Friday, September 13,\u00a0according<\/a>\u00a0to the San Bernardino Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Rodrigo Jimenez confirmed that officers responded to the incident at around 11:52 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201dWhen the officers arrived, they located a female, 17-year-old, who was struck by at least one other vehicle in the carpool lane on eastbound 210,\u201d Jimenez said.<\/p>\n

\u201dThe female succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Page Six<\/a>, Gold is believed to have \u201dreaped off the over-crossing and landed on the freeway in the carpool lane\u201d in Rancho Cucamonga, California.<\/p>\n

Even though her death is being treated as a suicide,\u00a0TMZ<\/a>\u00a0reported that no suicide notes were found.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Gold had captured the attention of millions of viewers as part of her high school\u2019s dance team on\u00a0America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em>, where the team progressed to the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n
