My husband\u2019s ex has an important job, while I\u2019m a stay-at-home wife. This summer, she started leaving their three boys with me from morning until night because she\u2019s \u201cso busy.\u201d I finally said, \u201cI\u2019m not a slave. You\u2019ll pay $120 a day!\u201d My husband was quiet.<\/p>\n

Today, I was shocked to find my kitchen trashed, my favorite mug broken, and one of the boys had scribbled all over the living room wall\u2014with permanent marker.<\/p>\n

I just stood there, in the middle of the mess, trying to keep calm.<\/p>\n
