I grabbed my keys and drove straight to the school, heart pounding, every protective instinct roaring to life. I was ready to demand explanations, ready to defend my child with everything I had. But when I walked into the classroom, the teacher didn\u2019t look defensive or accusatory. She looked\u2026 careful.<\/p>\n

Without saying a word, she reached into her desk drawer and handed me a crumpled piece of paper.<\/p>\n
