The Neighbor’s Favor Came With Two Choices

Wife: Honey, can you please help me clean the garden?

Husband: Do I look like a gardener?

Wife: Oh, sorry, honey. Okay then, can you at least fix the bathroom door? It’s been hanging loose for weeks.

Husband: Do I look like a carpenter?

The husband shrugged, grabbed his keys, and walked out, leaving his wife staring at the overgrown garden and the broken door. Not another word was said.

Hours later, when he finally returned, something immediately caught his attention. The garden looked spotless. The weeds were gone, the flowers were neatly arranged, and even the pathway had been swept clean. Then he noticed something even stranger—the bathroom door was perfectly fixed, hanging straight as if it had never been broken.

He stood there in disbelief.

Husband: Huh… I knew my wife would end up doing all this herself!

Wife: No, it wasn’t me.

The husband froze.

Husband: If it wasn’t you, then who did it?

Wife: Our neighbor.

The husband’s eyes widened.

Husband: The neighbor? Why would he do all that?

Wife: Well, he saw me struggling and offered to help.

Husband: That doesn’t sound right. What did you pay him?

Wife: Nothing.

Husband: Nothing? Nobody works for free. What did he want?

The wife paused for a moment, trying not to smile.

Wife: He only gave me two choices… bread or sex.

The husband nearly dropped his keys.

Husband: WHAT?! Well… I hope you gave him bread!

The wife folded her arms, looked him straight in the eye, and replied:

Wife: Do I look like a bakery?!
