{"id":95022,"date":"2023-10-27T18:00:28","date_gmt":"2023-10-27T13:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=95022"},"modified":"2023-10-27T17:12:54","modified_gmt":"2023-10-27T12:12:54","slug":"cipher-case-statements-of-prosecution-witnesses-could-not-be-recorded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/cipher-case-statements-of-prosecution-witnesses-could-not-be-recorded\/","title":{"rendered":"Cipher case: Statements of prosecution witnesses could not be recorded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, OCT 27 (ONLINE): The statement of prosecution witnesses could not be recorded against chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in cipher case.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of Special court established under official secret act took up the case for hearing in Adiala jail Friday. <\/p>\n<p>The others except prosecutor Shah Khawar and defence counsel Barrister Suleman Safdar appeared in the court.<\/p>\n<p>5 witnesses of prosecution also appeared in the court. <\/p>\n<p>The defence counsels while requesting the court not to record statements of witnesses said Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given observation in the decision.
