Islamabad SEPTEMBER 28 (Online): Pakistan will play warm-up match against New Zealand tomorrow<\/p>\n
Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan opened up after arriving in India for the ICC World Cup 2023.<\/p>\n
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday Shadab said that support from the fans will be key for the Pakistan team during the mega event.<\/p>\n
All geared up for the World Cup. We will give it our all. We can achieve our goals with the support of our fans. We believe when you believe,\u00ee Shadab posted with the hashtag \u00ebPakistan Zindabad\u00ed.<\/p>\n
It must be noted that the Pakistan team took part in a training session at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad, on Thursday.
\nThis was Pakistan\u00eds first training session after arriving on Indian shores for the ICC World Cup 2023.<\/p>\n
Majority of the Pakistan players took part in the session, which included Captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Haris Rauf and Hasan Ali.<\/p>\n
The Pakistan men’s cricket team landed in Hyderabad, India, on Wednesday from Dubai to participate in the mega event.
\nOn Monday, after a long delay, India finally issued visas to the Pakistan team ending uncertainty surrounding Pakistan’s participation in the tournament.<\/p>\n
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) complaining about a visa delay which, it said, had disrupted the team’s preparation for the mega event across the border.
\nPakistan will play two warm-up matches before beginning their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6.
\nArch-rivals India and Pakistan are set to clash in a mouth-watering October 14 contest in Ahmedabad.<\/p>\n
