BIRMINGHAM (PNI) Kashmiris and Sikh community must launch a joint strategy against India\u2019s illegal extra-territorial actions which have resulted in murder of innocent citizens, said leaders and activists of the two communities have said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe murder of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar by Indian government agents in Canada demands overseas Kashmiris and members of the Sikh community join hands and fight back India,\u201d said Joga Singh, speaker, World Sikh parliament.<\/p>\n
Singh was joined by Fahim Kayani, president Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) UK; Muzammil Ayub Thakur , president WKFM ; Loveshinder Singh, coordinator of Federation of Sikh organizations and Ch Ikram ul Haq of TeK.<\/p>\n
The Kashmiri and Sikh leaders addressed a joint news conference in Birmingham in the wake of Canadian government\u2019s allegations against India.<\/p>\n
The revelations by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who said allegations that India was behind assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar were credible, has sent shock waves across the globe as activists and freedom fighters are taking extra measures against Indian agents.<\/p>\n
Kayani said Kashmiris and Sikh community have always been informing the international community that India was involved in extra-judicial killings.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow, Indian rogue agents have struck deep inside the western nations who gave India a freehand to commit genocidal actions against Kashmiris,\u201d Kayani recalled. \u201cCanada must show steadfastness to take this case to its logical conclusion as there are tens of hundreds of such cases where India is deep involved in crimes against humanity which need to be exposed, one by one.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Kashmiri and Sikh leaders agreed for a \u201cjoint strategy\u201d to expose India in the western capitals which have become champions of human rights.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe revelations by Canada have exposed the state-sponsored terrorism by India across the globe,\u201d they said during the news conference.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe demand the governments across the globe should punish India by expelling their diplomats as it is sheer violation of international law and Vienna conventions as diplomatic missions are being used as murder houses of activists and freedom lovers,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
Recalling how Nazi Germany was appeased by international community which led to extermination of Jews, the Kashmiri and Sikh leaders said: \u201cthis is not the time to appease Modi, who is a murder accused himself. If western nations continue to remain mum, they are complicit in India\u2019s extra-judicial and extra-territorial murders and illegal activities.\u201d<\/p>\n
Separately, Kayani said that India has been involved in dangerous games for long and are not new.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe expose by EU DisInfo Lab few years back which revealed as how Indian government was directly involved in running fake news network across the western capital to discredit Kashmiri freedom movement is part of same game where New Delhi\u2019s rogue agents are harassing, intimidating and murdering activists,\u201d Kayani said.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cthis is the time for human rights champions in the US and Europe to open eyes and hold India accountable.\u201d<\/p>\n
