Protests were held in Nishtarrod, Bhimpura, Timber Market and Ranchhod Line in Karachi.<\/p>\n<p>In Rawalpindi, the people also protested against the electricity bills and demanded a reduction in the price of electricity. Citizens also protested against the high electricity bills.<\/p>\n<p>In Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, people also took to the streets. Traders in Ganj Bazaar and Lahori Chowk also set fire to electricity bills while protesting. Demonstrators set fire to electricity bills while staging dharna in Attock, citizens protested against electricity bills in Sargodha and blocked the road by burning bills, lawyers, businessmen and civil society at Kachehri Chowk in Jhelum.<br \/>\nWomen also participated in the demonstration against expensive electricity in Toba Tek Singh<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrators burnt electricity bills and blocked the road.
