{"id":86090,"date":"2023-08-06T05:00:46","date_gmt":"2023-08-06T00:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=86090"},"modified":"2023-08-06T02:50:39","modified_gmt":"2023-08-05T21:50:39","slug":"ptis-chief-proved-as-certified-thief-kundi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/ptis-chief-proved-as-certified-thief-kundi\/","title":{"rendered":"PTI&#8217;s Chief proved as certified thief: Kundi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nDERA ISMAIL KHAN, Aug 05 (APP): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman has been proven as a certified thief.<\/p>\n<p>He stated this while commenting on today\u2019s verdict against PTI Chairman in Tosha Khan&#8217;s Case through a video message.<\/p>\n<p>Faisal Kundi, who is also Pakistan People\u2019s Party (PPP) Information Secretary, said his party never favoured political victimization. However, he said, it was not a political decision but a court\u2019s decision. The judiciary was independent in the country, he mentioned.<\/p>\n<p>The PPP always believe in \u2018One Pakistan\u2019 which is the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah wherein all the citizens were equal before the law, he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said if PTI consider it as a wrong decision, it had the option to approach a higher forum for review.<\/p>\n<p>The court convicted the PTI Chief on the basis of later\u2019s wrongdoings and now he could not remain as head of his party, Faisal Kundi said.<\/p>\n<p>PTI chairman was enjoying the portfolio of his party on an extension basis as he himself announced that no one could become party chief more than twice, he said and added that no party elections were held. However, it was an internal matter of the PTI, Kundi maintained.<\/p>\n<p>Filing a review petition was the democratic right of the PTI.
