{"id":80232,"date":"2023-05-24T10:30:29","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T05:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=80232"},"modified":"2023-05-24T01:56:18","modified_gmt":"2023-05-23T20:56:18","slug":"nab-is-misusing-powers-cjp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/nab-is-misusing-powers-cjp\/","title":{"rendered":"NAB is misusing powers: CJP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, May 23 (Online): Supreme Court (SC) while expressing annoyance over NAB plea for freezing bank account of the accused person has disposed off the petition being withdrawn. <\/p>\n<p>The NAB application came up for hearing before 2-member bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p>The CJP inquire during the hearing of the case how much money is there in the bank accounts of the accused which has to be freezed.<\/p>\n<p>NAB prosecutor told the court freezing order of Rs 48674 bank account are required. <\/p>\n<p>The CJP remarked what a joke it is. NAB is misusing powers at this time. NAB has got one power and it is using it every where. It is running after only Rs 48000. <\/p>\n<p>Justice Athar Minallah remarked NAB is not working transparently.
