{"id":80124,"date":"2023-05-23T01:57:21","date_gmt":"2023-05-22T20:57:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=80124"},"modified":"2023-05-23T01:57:21","modified_gmt":"2023-05-22T20:57:21","slug":"wafaqi-mohtasib-takes-notice-of-non-payment-of-post-retirement-dues-to-islamabad-teachers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/regional-news-pakistan\/wafaqi-mohtasib-takes-notice-of-non-payment-of-post-retirement-dues-to-islamabad-teachers\/","title":{"rendered":"Wafaqi Mohtasib takes notice of non-payment of post-retirement dues to Islamabad teachers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, May 22 (APP):Wafaqi Mohtasib Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi has taken notice of the non-payment of post-retirement benefits to the retired teachers of the educational institutions operating under the Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>The plight of retired teachers was highlighted in a web report titled, \u2018Forgotten Heroes; Islamabad\u2019s retired teachers awaiting their pending dues\u2019 which appeared on 15th May 2023, said a news release.<\/p>\n<p>It was learned that a large number of teachers who retired during the last two years remained deprived of their lawful post-retirement entitlements due to an acute shortage of funds. <\/p>\n<p>The pending amount totalled around Rs 2.6 billion.
