Srinagar (PNI) In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian agency, Enforcement Directorate, along with paramilitary and police personnel raided the houses of jailed Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chief patron Zaffar Akbar Bhat and religious leader Qazi Yasir in the territory.<\/p>\n
Spokesman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Dr Irfan in a statement shared details of the raids by Indian agencies and paramilitary at Zaffar Akbar Bhat\u2019s residence, and added that 4 raids have been carried out in last 30 days.<\/p>\n
New Delhi probe agency along with Indian paramilitary and police personnel, today, raided the house of Muhammad Akbar Bhat alias Zaffar Bhat at Bagh-e-Mehtab in Srinagar.<\/p>\n
Dr Irfan added that, Zaffar Akbar Bhat is facing illegal detention since 18 August 2019 in different jails, right now he is under arrest in Udhampur Jail.<\/p>\n
While he is in continuous detention since 2019 but Indian agencies and forces are carrying raids at his residence. Today\u2019s raid marks 4th in last 30 days.<\/p>\n
During the house raids, the agency took property documents and mobiles of the family members of the leaders.<\/p>\n
Spokesman JKSM said that Zaffar Akbar Bhat was arrested on 9th April 2007, 11th September 2007 , 10th May, 2016, 20th Oct 2016, 9th May, 18th Augst 2019.
\nHe also suffered brain hemorrhage during detention in 2020.<\/p>\n
On 24th Jan 1995 Indian forces demolished two ancestoral houses of Zaffar Akbar Bhat with dynamite. He added.<\/p>\n
Dr Irfan further added that, Zaffar Akbar Bhat is the elder brother of Altaf Ahmed Bhat who is working national and international level for resolution of this long pending conflict through tripartite dialogue and through peaceful settlement as per the aspirations of besieged people of IIOJ&K and UN resolutions.<\/p>\n
Spokesman JKSM Dr Irfan added that during this ongoing Freedom struggle their family has sacrificed almost 15 family members including their elder brother Haji Abdul Ghani Bhat.<\/p>\n
Pertinently, the Indian government is attaching the inherent properties of resistance camp and people of IIOJK who are raising their voice against Indian illegal occupation and for their demand of right to self determination as promised by the United Nations resolutions.<\/p>\n
New delhi in a bid to put an end to the voice of freedom, using all inhumane and illegal tactics : arbitrary arrests, raids, CASO\u2019s to intimidate hurriyat leadership but to no vail.
