{"id":69689,"date":"2023-02-18T19:00:13","date_gmt":"2023-02-18T14:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=69689"},"modified":"2023-02-18T17:02:40","modified_gmt":"2023-02-18T12:02:40","slug":"hbl-psl-8-to-continue-pcb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/latest-sports-news\/hbl-psl-8-to-continue-pcb\/","title":{"rendered":"HBL PSL 8 to continue: PCB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Sohail Ali<br \/>\nLAHORE, Feb 18 (APP): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said the HBL Pakistan Super League 8 will continue as planned, with both Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators fielding their full-strength sides later on Saturday at the National Bank Cricket Arena. <\/p>\n<p>Toss will take place at 6:30pm, with the first ball to be bowled at 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>PCB Chairman Najam Sethi said on Saturday, \u201cThe HBL PSL 8 will continue as planned after it has been established and confirmed that Friday\u2019s incident was an isolated one, which was unrelated to cricket. We have been working very closely with all stakeholders, including the local and foreign security experts, who have provided assurances and comfort that the event can precede as there was no threat to cricket.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe PCB takes the safety and security of all those involved in the HBL PSL 8 very seriously. To ensure no stone is left unturned, Presidential-level security has been provided to the teams and officials.
