ISLAMABAD, Feb 12 (APP): National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) has successfully augmented the existing 160 MVA, 220\/132 kV auto-transformer (T1) with a 250 MVA unit at 220 kV Industrial-II Quetta grid station and energized the auto-transformer on Sunday.<\/p>\n

This project, a part of the World Bank funded NTMP-I program, has been completed under the System Constraints Removal Program which will see an enhancement in the capacity of Quetta grid station, said a press release. <\/p>\n

It will help to meet the increasing load demand of consumers of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO).<\/p>\n
