{"id":66906,"date":"2023-01-06T07:00:55","date_gmt":"2023-01-06T02:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=66906"},"modified":"2023-01-06T02:19:52","modified_gmt":"2023-01-05T21:19:52","slug":"ecnec-approves-mega-water-project-in-kp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/regional-news-pakistan\/ecnec-approves-mega-water-project-in-kp\/","title":{"rendered":"ECNEC approves mega water project in KP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR \u2013 January 5 (ONLINE) (ONLINE): Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Thursday accorded approval to a mega developmental project of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government regarding Gravity Flow Water Supply Scheme Mansehra City. <\/p>\n<p>According to details, the newly approved Water Supply Scheme would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.583 billion which will provide clean drinking water to over 2,000,00 population of Mansehra City.<\/p>\n<p>KPK\u2019s Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has termed the approval of this mega scheme as an important achievement of the provincial government and good news for the people of district Mansehra. <\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued here Thursday, he said that the project on completion would provide all time solution to the long standing issue of clean drinking water in the city.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister made it clear that his government is working under a comprehensive strategy to resolve public issues across the province adding that work on drinking water supply schemes in different parts of the province is underway.
