{"id":65093,"date":"2022-12-08T19:00:56","date_gmt":"2022-12-08T14:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=65093"},"modified":"2022-12-08T17:38:18","modified_gmt":"2022-12-08T12:38:18","slug":"court-testifies-ecps-official-in-toshakhana-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/court-testifies-ecps-official-in-toshakhana-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Court testifies ECP&#8217;s official in Toshakhana case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Dec 08 (APP): A local court here on Thursday recorded  statement of Election Commission of Pakistan&#8217;s (ECP) deputy director finance in toshakhana case against PTI\u2019s chief Imran Khan.<\/p>\n<p>District and Session Judge Zafar Iqbal heard the toshakhana case against former prime minister. <\/p>\n<p>At the outset of hearing, ECP\u2019s Deputy Director Musadiq Anwar adopted the stance that his department had asked the PTI leader to submit the banking statements. The documents comprising 31 pages had been submitted in ECP\u2019s record, he added. <\/p>\n<p>He further submitted the copies of Imran Khan\u2019s nomination papers comprising 59 pages to the court. <\/p>\n<p>The counsel for Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha argued that his client wanted to become party in this case to this the court said that only one complainant would remain in this case. <\/p>\n<p>However, the petitioner could become a witness in the case. <\/p>\n<p>The court said that it would hear the arguments and view evidence of the prosecution on next hearing.
