{"id":54394,"date":"2022-08-06T19:30:42","date_gmt":"2022-08-06T14:30:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=54394"},"modified":"2022-08-06T15:35:37","modified_gmt":"2022-08-06T10:35:37","slug":"fbr-decides-to-launch-action-against-more-than-100-big-retailers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/latest-business-news\/fbr-decides-to-launch-action-against-more-than-100-big-retailers\/","title":{"rendered":"FBR decides to launch action against more than 100 big retailers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, August 06 (Online): Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to take action against over 100 big retailers in the country. <\/p>\n<p>According to FBR, the process of import consignment clearance has been started at ship yards and custom stations. <\/p>\n<p>The FBR while seeking report from Chief collectors about consignment clearance within a week has directed them to take steps for consignment clearance besides providing relief to the importers. <\/p>\n<p>The statement issued by FBR said the clearance process had slowed down following the issuance of SRO regarding import consignment. <\/p>\n<p>Additional charges were slapped on containers due to slow clearance process.
