<\/p>\nLONDON (PNI) The upcoming visit by fascist Narendra Modi to European countries from Monday is an opportune time for these nations to question the Indian premier about its war crimes in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK).<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile the host nations should have avoided inviting Narendra Modi at a time when his occupying forces are persecuting Kashmiris, yet it is an opportunity for the leadership of these European nations to step up their vigil and ask Modi very hard questions,\u201d said Fahim Kayani, president of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK.<\/p>\n

Modi will be on an official visit to Germany, Denmark and France from May 2 to 4.<\/p>\n
Kayani said these European nations have been the forerunners of upholding human rights \u201cbut now is the time to muster courage and ask Modi why India is scuttling any move to hold UN-granted plebiscite in IIoJK.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe leadership of these nations will do a service to humanity by forcing Modi to halt military operations against Kashmiris, release all prisoners and create environment to hold plebiscite so that people in IIoJK can decide their political fate,\u201d Kayani said.<\/p>\n
Germany, Denmark and France are three influential countries, said Kayani, \u201cit is not just their moral right to uphold human rights but international obligation to force India to implement international resolutions on IIoJK.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Kashmiri diaspora leader said India is witnessing a slow genocide of its Muslim community. \u201cThe reception that these nations will grant to Modi is akin to rubbing salt on wounds of the Indian Muslim community,\u201d he said, urging Germany, Denmark and France to strongly condemn in public Modi\u2019s complicit support to state terror inflicted on Kashmiris and Indian Muslims.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a test for these European nations which claim to be leaders of human rights; India is Achilles heel for them and they must not keep silent but ask India to uphold international law and respect the will of international community with regard to IIoJK that only a free and fair plebiscite is a solution to end military occupation of the UN-designated disputed territory,\u201d Kayani said.<\/p>\n
Referring to ban on Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida prayers at historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar, Kayani said such attempts only expose the fascist nature of Modi government.<\/p>\n
\u201cKashmiris will never cow down and no power can keep Kashmiris away from following their religion,\u201d he said, condemning the heinous act of military regime in IIoJK.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe ban on religious obligations of people in IIoJK by Modi\u2019s military regime in IIoJK is bound to fail as the aspirations for freedom are deep in the hearts and minds of people which can neither be bought for petty dollars nor killed by the weaponry of Indian occupying forces,\u201d Kayani said.<\/p>\n
Kayani urged the European nations that Modi should be told in clear words that his actions in IIoJK are unpardonable and unacceptable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
