RAWALPINDI \u2013 March 7 (ONLINE) Australia on Monday ended day 4 of the historic Rawalpindi test against Pakistan at 449-7, while still trailing Pakistan\u2019s first innings score of 476-4 (d).<\/p>\n

Usman Khawaja remained top scorer for Australia, but became victim of \u2018nervous nineties\u2019 at 97. Marnus Lambuschagne was also ten short of century as he got out on 90. Steve Smith and David Warner also contributed with socres of 78 and 68 respectively. At the end of day 4, Mitchel Starc and captain Pat Cummins were standing on crease. Starc was batting on 12 while Cummins remained not out at 8.<\/p>\n

Pakistan\u2019s Nauman Ali was the pick of bowlers as the left-arm spinner grabbed 4 wickets against his name. Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Sajid Khan also sent one Ausie batsman back to pavilion respectively.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just tried to stick to my plans which were given to me by my captain and our coaches. I just wanted to use the rough patches, and that helped.<\/p>\n

The pitch was slow and there were few patches in the middle of the pitch but there were good patches on the sides. We’ll look to get them out early tomorrow and we would follow whatever the team management decides for tomorrow\u201d Nauman Ali said at the end of proceedings.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Pakistan declared their first innings on 476-4 with Azhar Ali and Imam-ul-Haq at the top of batting scorecard. Experienced Azhar Ali scored a masterful 185 (361) while Imam-ul-Haq posted 157 (358) against his name.<\/p>\n
