Under the constitution Aiwan-e-Sadr has written a letter to leader of the house in National Assembly (NA) and Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and opposition leader in NA Shahbaz Sharif. <\/p>\n<p>Through these letters  names for new chairman NAB have been sought from PM Imran Khan and opposition leader in NA Shahbaz Sharif. Both have been requested  to send such names to Aiwan-e-Sadr which meet the procedure and rules and regulations set for the appointment of chairman  NAB.  If both PM and opposition leader don\u2019t reach a consensus name then president will refer this matter  to parliamentary committee comprising equal number of treasury and opposition members. President will also hand over the names to parliamentary committee which were proposed by the PM and opposition leader. <\/p>\n<p>It may be mentioned that the sitting chairman NAB Javed Iqbal has completed his  four years service tenure on October 8.
