{"id":18569,"date":"2021-09-12T06:00:53","date_gmt":"2021-09-12T01:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=18569"},"modified":"2021-09-13T22:23:20","modified_gmt":"2021-09-13T17:23:20","slug":"a-special-meeting-will-be-held-to-elect-new-pcb-chairman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/latest-sports-news\/cricket-news\/a-special-meeting-will-be-held-to-elect-new-pcb-chairman\/","title":{"rendered":"A special meeting will be held to elect new PCB chairman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lahore, September 11 (Online): A special meeting of the PCB Board of Governors will be held on Monday to elect new Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the election of the 36th PCB chairman will be held at the National High Performance Center in Lahore.<br \/>\nPCB Election Commissioner Justice (retd) Sheikh Azmat Saeed will preside over the special session.<\/p>\n<p>Other members of the governing board are Asim Wajid Jawad, Alia Zafar, Asad Ali Khan, Arif Saeed, Javed Qureshi, Rameez Raja and Wasim Khan will attend the special meeting.<\/p>\n<p>After the meeting, the newly elected Chairman of the PCB will hold a press conference at 2pm.<\/p>\n<p>For the health and safety of all persons, only reporters will be allowed to attend the conference under PCB Covid-19 Protocols<br \/>\nThose people will also have to bring their own Covid vaccination certificate.<\/p>\n<p>It is to be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the appointment of former cricketer Rameez Raja as the Patron-in-Chief of the PCB.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lahore, September 11 (Online): A special meeting of the PCB Board of Governors will be held on Monday to elect new Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
