{"id":18100,"date":"2021-09-08T17:00:44","date_gmt":"2021-09-08T12:00:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=18100"},"modified":"2021-09-08T15:20:09","modified_gmt":"2021-09-08T10:20:09","slug":"covid-19-positive-students-allowed-to-skip-mdcat-exams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/latest-education-news\/covid-19-positive-students-allowed-to-skip-mdcat-exams\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 positive students allowed to skip MDCAT exams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Sep 07 (APP):Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) Tuesday said that COVID-19 positive students would be allowed to skip from the scheduled MDCAT exam dates on submitting test reports from the authorized laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>According to PMC, any student with tests COVID-19 positive and their scheduled examination date is within a 10 day period from the date of their COVID-19 test will be allowed to skip the scheduled slot for the exam as long as the form is filled and submitted in advance.<br \/>\nIt added an infected student applicant would be required to submit a COVID-19 positive test from any of the following labs only Shifa Laboratories (Islamabad), SKMH, Chughtai, AKU (Punjab), AKU, Indus, Chughtai, Ziauddin Hospital (Sindh), RMI, North-West Hospital, LRH (KPK), AKU, FJ Hospital (Balochistan), CMH Laboratories (Gilgit Baltistan) and CMH Laboratories (AJK).<\/p>\n<p>It said that the COVID-19 positive test would be verified and cross-checked with the laboratory by PMC and added that submitting a fake document would result in the cancellation of exam registration.<br \/>\nThe examination will be scheduled within a vacant slot during the MDCAT and if no slots are available, a special exam will be conducted after the last date.<\/p>\n<p>It added the applicants were required to bring a printout of the COVID-19 positive test stamped by the recommended laboratory which would be validated again before allowing entry into the examination centre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Sep 07 (APP):Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) Tuesday said that COVID-19 positive students would be allowed to skip from the scheduled MDCAT exam dates on submitting test reports from the authorized laboratories.
