{"id":17518,"date":"2021-09-05T17:00:53","date_gmt":"2021-09-05T12:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=17518"},"modified":"2021-09-05T15:43:22","modified_gmt":"2021-09-05T10:43:22","slug":"man-allegedly-abducted-and-raped-a-woman-sub-inspector-in-muzaffargarh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/regional-news-pakistan\/man-allegedly-abducted-and-raped-a-woman-sub-inspector-in-muzaffargarh\/","title":{"rendered":"Man allegedly abducted and raped a woman sub-inspector in Muzaffargarh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Muzaffargarh September 05 (Online): In yet another incident of violence against women, a man allegedly abducted and raped a woman sub-inspector, sources said Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>The sub-inspector was on her way to the Saddar police station to work on a case, initial police reports said, when the suspect abducted her in a car and took her to a garden near Chaman bypass where he tortured and then raped her. <\/p>\n<p>The victim has since been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.<br \/>\nA police spokesperson revealed that the suspect, Kashif, has been arrested and the car he used to kidnap the victim has been confiscated.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson added that a case of abduction, torture and sexual assault has been registered at the City police station against the suspect. <\/p>\n<p>The investigation of the case will be supervised by the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) City Police Station.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector General (IG) Punjab Inam Ghani, taking notice of the incident, has directed the regional police officer (RPO) Dera Ghazi Khan to submit a report on it. <\/p>\n<p>IG Punjab has also ordered strict legal action against the arrested suspect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Muzaffargarh September 05 (Online): In yet another incident of violence against women, a man allegedly abducted and raped a woman sub-inspector, sources said Sunday.
