The Court also granted interim bail to co-accused Rai Mumtaz and directed the parties to submit their responses at the next hearing.<\/p>\n<p>During the proceedings, the Deputy Prosecutor General Punjab argued that Pervez Elahi and Muhammad Khan Bhatti were misusing the concession of bail. He informed the Court that both accused had failed to appear before the trial court on 18 occasions after obtaining bail, causing delays in the trial. After hearing the prosecutor\u2019s arguments, the Supreme Court issued notices to Pervez Elahi and Muhammad Khan Bhatti, seeking their replies to the allegations.
