{"id":123522,"date":"2025-12-24T08:46:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T03:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=123522"},"modified":"2025-12-25T08:51:25","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T03:51:25","slug":"12-bids-for-two-team-slots-in-pakistan-super-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/latest-sports-news\/12-bids-for-two-team-slots-in-pakistan-super-league\/","title":{"rendered":"12 bids for two team slots in Pakistan Super League"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"375\"><strong data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"173\">LAHORE, Dec 24 (APP):<\/strong><br data-start=\"173\" data-end=\"176\" \/>The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced that <strong data-start=\"237\" data-end=\"272\">12 bidders from five continents<\/strong> have submitted bids for the <strong data-start=\"301\" data-end=\"335\">two newly available team slots<\/strong> in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"377\" data-end=\"580\">In a press release, the PCB expressed satisfaction over the strong response to the tender, stating that it had received an <strong data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"540\">exceptional and encouraging response<\/strong> for the sale of two new PSL franchises.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"749\">\u201cWithin the stipulated deadline, <strong data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"664\">12 parties have formally submitted their bids<\/strong>, reflecting strong domestic and international interest in the league,\u201d the PCB said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"999\">According to the board, the bidders represent <strong data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"816\">five continents<\/strong>, including the <strong data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"914\">United States, Australia, Canada, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Pakistan<\/strong>, highlighting the PSL\u2019s growing <strong data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"998\">global reach, popularity, and commercial appeal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1272\">The PCB said that the <strong data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1096\">results of the initial bidding phase will be announced on December 27<\/strong>.
