RAWALPINDI, Dec 24 (APP):<\/strong>
The Corps Commanders\u2019 Conference (CCC) on Wednesday categorically rejected any nexus between terrorism, crime, and vested political interests, warning that no malicious agenda\u2014political or otherwise\u2014aimed at undermining national unity, security, or stability would be tolerated. The forum also vowed that no one would be allowed to create divisions between the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The 273rd Corps Commanders\u2019 Conference was held at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi, under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), according to a statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).<\/p>\n

The forum conducted a comprehensive review of the prevailing internal and external security environment, with particular emphasis on evolving threats and operational preparedness.<\/p>\n

Participants reaffirmed that all terrorists operating under the patronage of Indian sponsors, along with their facilitators and abettors, would be dealt with decisively and without exception.<\/p>\n

The conference appreciated the Balochistan Special Development Initiatives aimed at local empowerment and community engagement to address terrorism-related governance challenges. It noted the need for similar public-centric initiatives in other areas, in line with the National Action Plan, to ensure lasting peace and stability.<\/p>\n

The forum also underscored Pakistan\u2019s steadfast commitment to the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. It reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s principled stance on the Palestine issue, calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, unhindered humanitarian access to Gaza, and a credible pathway toward Palestinian statehood.<\/p>\n

The participants offered Fateha for the martyrs of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent civilians who lost their lives in recent terrorist incidents while defending the country against foreign-sponsored terrorism.<\/p>\n

Paying rich tribute to the courage, professionalism, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the COAS appreciated their resolute conduct in sustained, intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations across the country in recent months. He said that due to the combined efforts of the government, the military, and the steadfast support of the people, Pakistan was steadily progressing toward stability, opportunity, and international respect.<\/p>\n

In his concluding remarks, the COAS and CDF directed commanders to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness, discipline, training, physical fitness, technological innovation, and battlefield adaptability. He expressed full confidence in the Pakistan Army\u2019s ability to counter the full spectrum of threats\u2014ranging from conventional and sub-conventional to hybrid and asymmetric\u2014while steadfastly safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
