MIRPUR (AJK), Dec 16 (APP):<\/strong> Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore<\/strong> has said that public service lies at the core of his politics and personal identity, reaffirming the government\u2019s commitment to addressing public issues on a priority basis.<\/p>\n

Addressing a large public gathering in Paniola<\/strong>, the prime minister said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)-led government<\/strong> was a true representative of the people and was fully committed to resolving public grievances within the shortest possible timeframe.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that the present setup was not a government of individual members of the legislative assembly, but of the Pakistan Peoples Party<\/strong>, working collectively in the public interest.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe doors of the Prime Minister House in Muzaffarabad have been opened to the public, and ministers as well as the bureaucracy have been directed to ensure that no citizen returns disappointed from government offices,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The prime minister announced a series of development initiatives<\/strong> for the area, including the establishment of a sub-division in Paniola<\/strong>, creation of a town committee in Thorar<\/strong>, permanent monthly posting of a civil judge in Datot<\/strong>, and complete restoration of the Thorar water supply scheme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He said the government would bear all expenses<\/strong> related to the Thorar water supply project. Additional announcements included construction of a boundary wall for Thorar Hospital<\/strong>, immediate orders for the Tamrota Grid Station<\/strong>, and development of key infrastructure projects, including the Thorar\u2013Rawalakot\u2013Mang Road<\/strong>, Mori Farman Shah Bridge<\/strong> (through local government), Arnaila\u2013Sarmila Bridge<\/strong>, Mujahidabad Road<\/strong>, and the establishment of a degree college in Datot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Drawing a comparison with previous administrations, the prime minister said the earlier two-and-a-half-year government lacked public support, whereas the present government enjoyed full backing both inside and outside the parliament<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On youth employment<\/strong>, Prime Minister Rathore assured that all development and employment-related initiatives announced for the area by Adviser for Sports, Youth and Culture Ahmed Saghir<\/strong> would be fully implemented. He described unemployment as a major challenge and said the government was taking concrete measures to address the issue.<\/p>\n

Referring to growing public confidence, the prime minister said the people had full trust in their elected representatives. He reiterated that public service had been made a top priority and made it clear that the struggle for public rights would now be pursued within parliament rather than on the streets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
