The subject transaction involves the acquisition of Borusan from Borusan Holding AS and Borusan Yatirim ve Pazarlama AS, both incorporated in T\u00fcrkiye, said a release issued here on Tuesday.<br \/>\nThe CMA CGM, headquartered in France, operates worldwide in container shipping and port terminal services. In Pakistan, it is present through its logistics arm, CEVA Logistics Pakistan Pvt. Ltd and CEVA Air and Ocean Pakistan Pvt. Ltd. On the other hand, Borusan provides third-party logistics services, primarily in T\u00fcrkiye, with negligible presence in Pakistan through a local agent.<br \/>\nThe Commission, in its assessment, examined the potential anti-competitive effects of the transaction and concluded that the relevant market, freight forwarding services (air and sea), remains unaffected given the company\u2019s limited presence in Pakistan.
