\nIn a thrilling final bout on Friday, Ali Nawaz narrowly lost to his Australian opponent in a split decision, falling short by just one point.<\/p>\n
Talking to APP on phone from the USA, the talented boxer expressed both pride and gratitude. \u201cAlhamdulillah, history has been made,\u201d said an elated Ali.
\n\u201cWinning the silver medal at the World Police Games is an honour not just for me but for the entire Islamabad Police and the people of Pakistan. I am the first-ever Pakistani police boxing athlete from Islamabad Police to achieve this distinction at this coveted global event.\u201d<\/p>\n
