Therefore, punishment was not awarded on this base.<br \/>\nThe court acquitted Hassan Shah and other nominated persons due to insufficient evidence.<br \/>\nAs per court 17 witnesses recorded their evidence from prosecution side. The decision  was announced in the light of these evidences.<br \/>\nIt is pertinent to mention here Khalil ur Rehman was allegedly trapped  and kidnapped in this case.
