{"id":119246,"date":"2025-02-13T16:03:50","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T11:03:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=119246"},"modified":"2025-02-13T16:03:50","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T11:03:50","slug":"cause-list-of-cjp-bench-cancelled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/cause-list-of-cjp-bench-cancelled\/","title":{"rendered":"Cause list of CJP Bench cancelled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, FEB 13 (ONLINE): Cause list of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) bench has been cancelled. <\/p>\n<p>The CJP Yahya Afridi will do chamber work.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand new judges will take oath on Friday.<br \/>\n40 cases were fixed for hearing before the bench comprising CJP Yahya Afridi and justice Shahid Wahid. <\/p>\n<p>Bench 2 presided over by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah heard the cases in bench 1. <\/p>\n<p>According to sources CJP Yahya Afridi will do  chamber work. <\/p>\n<p>The schedule of oath taking ceremony of new judges in Supreme Court (SC)  has been changed. Oath taking ceremony of new judges will take place today (Friday). <\/p>\n<p>It is pertinent to mention here the oath taking ceremony of 6 permanent judges and one temporary judge was to be held on Thursday but it could not take place due to late issuance of notification regarding appointment of judges. <\/p>\n<p>The judges who were  appointed in SC from Sindh High Court and Peshawar High court could not reach due to delay in issuance of\u00a0notification.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, FEB 13 (ONLINE): Cause list of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) bench has been cancelled.
