{"id":118927,"date":"2025-02-01T15:33:42","date_gmt":"2025-02-01T10:33:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=118927"},"modified":"2025-02-01T15:33:42","modified_gmt":"2025-02-01T10:33:42","slug":"jcp-accords-approval-for-appointment-of-10-additional-judges-in-phc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/jcp-accords-approval-for-appointment-of-10-additional-judges-in-phc\/","title":{"rendered":"JCP accords approval for appointment of 10 additional judges in PHC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, FEB 01 (ONLINE): Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has accorded approval to 10 additional judges for Peshawar High Court (PHC). <\/p>\n<p>JCP met here under Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi for appointment of additional judges.<br \/>\nThe matter of appointment of additional judges in PHC was deliberated over in the meeting. <\/p>\n<p>40 name were under consideration in meeting  for appointment of 9 judges in PHC. <\/p>\n<p>As per sources JCP approved 10 additional judges for PHC. <\/p>\n<p>According to agenda  9 judges were to be  appointed  but \tCJP approved 10 additional judges.<br \/>\n3 members opposed appointment of additional judges in the meeting.<br \/>\nSources added approval has been given for appointment of Farah Jamshed, Inam Ullah Khan, Qazi Jawad and Ehsan Ullah as additional judge. <\/p>\n<p>JCP has also approved appointment of  Mudassar Amir, Sabit Ullah and Aurangzeb as additional judges.<br \/>\nApproval was given to appoint Abdul Fayyaz, Salah ud Din, Sadiq Ali,  Tariq Afridi and Aurangzeb Khan  as additional judge\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, FEB 01 (ONLINE): Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has accorded approval to 10 additional judges for Peshawar High Court (PHC).
