\nTriptii Dimri says she would cry everyday on the sets of ‘Laila Majnu’, recalls working with Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol on ‘Poster Boys’
\nTriptii Dimri became a national crush overnight, post the release of ‘Animal’ but her true fans remember the actress post ‘Laila Majnu’ and ‘Bulbbul’. Not many can recall that Triptii had infact, started her career with ‘Poster Boys’ which starred Sunny Deo, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade. But at that point in time, she didn’t know anything about acting.
\nThe actress who is currently promoting her movie, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, recalled how naive she was, in an interview recently.

\nShe recalled working with Bobby, Sunny and Shreyas in ‘Poster Boys’ and said, “I didn\u2019t know the meaning of DOP (director of photography) or what a POV (point-of-view) shot was. I didn\u2019t perform well in it because I didn\u2019t know the \u2018a\u2019 of acting.” However, Triptii admitted that her parents who were reluctant about her moving to Mumbai and being a part of the industry. But the fact that Triptii was working with the Deols, eased her parents’ concern.
\nShe said, “I just wanted to do something different. I was never academically good. I told my parents I was going to give it (modelling) a try.” Triptii also admitted how she would cry everyday on the sets of ‘Laila Majnu’. The ‘Qala’ actress said, “Even then, I didn\u2019t know acting. I would sit in workshops with my director Sajid Ali and (co-star) Avinash Tiwary and they would have discussions on acting, backstory and characterisations. I would just sit there, blank-faced, not knowing anything. I would go home and cry thinking, \u2018Am I doing the right thing?\u2019 because I didn\u2019t understand what they were saying or their language.”
