{"id":112321,"date":"2024-08-16T21:00:27","date_gmt":"2024-08-16T16:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=112321"},"modified":"2024-08-16T17:19:42","modified_gmt":"2024-08-16T12:19:42","slug":"ipo-pakistan-strengthens-ties-with-pipra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/latest-business-news\/ipo-pakistan-strengthens-ties-with-pipra\/","title":{"rendered":"IPO Pakistan strengthens ties with PIPRA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, Aug 16 :Chairperson IPO-Pakistan, Ambassador (r) Farukh Amil on Friday met with a delegation from the Pakistan Intellectual Property Rights Association (PIPRA) to attain the maximum productivity in the institution.<br \/>\nThe delegation comprised of Sultan Ahmed Sheikh, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan (Past Chairman PIPRA), Syed Aquil Ali Shah (Chairman PIPRA), Saleem Ghulam Hussain, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan (Senior Vice Chairman PIPRA), Salman Ahmed Sheikh, Advocate High Court (Member Managing Committee PIPRA), and Didar Karim, Advocate High Court (Honorary Secretary PIPRA), said a press release issued here.<br \/>\nThe meeting focused on IP-related issues while the delegation highlighting key challenges such as Pakistan\u2019s accession to international instruments, amendments to IP laws, and fee structures.<br \/>\nThe Chairperson IPO-Pakistan reiterated his appreciation of the private sector\u2019s role in enhancing the IP system in Pakistan and assured the delegation that IPO Pakistan would support proposals from the lawyers\u2019 community to strengthen the IP system and improve service delivery.<br \/>\nThe Chairperson also briefed the delegation on recent developments at IPO Pakistan.
