ISLAMABAD, July 10 (ONLINE): Karan Johar who is making headlines for his recently released action-thriller 'Kill', opened up about how it has become necessary for every production house to have a legal team to review scripts to avoid getting into legal conflicts.\r\nKaran Johar reveals all scripts from his production house go through the legal team; Says, \u2018Bollywood is a soft target, don\u2019t want FIRs\u2019\r\nKaran Johar who is making headlines for his recently released action-thriller 'Kill', opened up about how it has become necessary for every production house to have a legal team to review scripts to avoid getting into legal conflicts.\r\nDuring his interaction with Faye D\u2019Souza, Karan Johar explained that there is a fear of legal issues.\r\n\r\n To avoid court cases and FIRs, they have established legal departments in every organization.\r\nEvery script, whether for Dharma Productions or their digital arm Dharmatic Entertainment, undergoes internal legal censorship before production. This approach is not due to fear but to avoid the stress and pressure of legal battles, allowing them to focus on their work without unnecessary distractions.\r\nKaran mentioned that Bollywood is often a soft target, with objections frequently coming from people who want to make noise for the wrong reasons. He believes that while many individuals and groups say and do various things, Bollywood faces disproportionate backlash and online attacks for anything it says or does. He described this as the irony of being a soft power that is also a soft\r\nRecently, Karan approached the Bombay High Court against the makers of the upcoming Hindi movie 'Shaadi Ke Director Karan Aur Johar' for unlawfully using his name in the title.
