As-salamu alaykum,<\/p>\n

Hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.<\/p>\n

I have been a Labour Party supporter, along with my family, for 20 years, supporting its policies that have significantly benefited the common people. I have been campaigning for the liberation of Palestine and Kashmir since 1993. However, my support wavered when Keir Starmer, upon becoming the leader, stated that he did not recognize the resolution on Kashmir passed under Jeremy Corbyn\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n

The current Labour Party leadership\u2019s failure to support a ceasefire resolution and its endorsement of the situation in Gaza, which many perceive as genocide, has caused considerable distress. Labour’s lack of accountability for Israel\u2019s violations of international law in Gaza is unacceptable. While I prioritize other important issues such as immigration , healthcare , unemployment, housing , education , disability & community safety , Gaza remains a top priority.<\/p>\n

The Muslim community is deeply disappointed, with three independent candidates making Gaza a central issue in their campaigns. If we unite behind a single candidate, 99% of the Muslim community is willing to support us.<\/p>\n

I am willing to step down on one condition if you both decide for the oppressed people of Gaza which of you will be the candidate. If we fail to make this decision, pro-Gaza voters will surely be disappointed by this attitude.<\/p>\n

I look forward to hearing from you .<\/p>\n
