{"id":105366,"date":"2024-04-16T23:00:14","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T18:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=105366"},"modified":"2024-04-16T17:15:04","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T12:15:04","slug":"pakistan-desires-to-enhance-bilateral-cooperation-with-saudi-arabia-pm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/pakistan-desires-to-enhance-bilateral-cooperation-with-saudi-arabia-pm\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan desires to enhance bilateral cooperation with Saudi Arabia: PM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, April 16 (Online): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Pakistan&#8217;s desire to further enhance bilateral cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the fields of trade and investment.<br \/>\nHe was talking to a high-level Saudi delegation led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud in Islamabad Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia should work closely to expedite the first phase of Saudi investments in Pakistan.<br \/>\nHe said the visit of Saudi delegation marks beginning of a new era of strategic and commercial partnership between the two countries.<br \/>\nThe Prime Minister said the visit of Saudi delegation immediately after his visit to Saudi Arabia is a manifestation of strong commitment of both countries to strengthen bilateral relations.   <\/p>\n<p>Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the steps being taken by the government to promote foreign investment and achieve mutually beneficial partnerships with brotherly countries.<br \/>\nThe Prime Minister informed the delegation about the Special Investment Facilitation Council and key role of Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir and the cooperation of all institutions for promotion of investment in the country. He especially mentioned the wide potential of investment in Pakistan.        <\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for increasing investment footprint in Pakistan.<br \/>\nNoting that the two countries enjoy an unprecedented brotherly relationship, the Prime Minister said the two countries stood together in all times.                            <\/p>\n<p>He conveyed his best wishes to the Saudi leadership, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Muhammad Bin Salman Al Saud.<br \/>\nShehbaz Sharif also extended invitation to Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to visit Pakistan and said the people of Pakistan look forward to this visit.    <\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, the Saudi Foreign Minister reiterated the resolve to strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations and further promote trade and investment partnership.<br \/>\nThe meeting also deliberated on promotion of cooperation and investment in various fields between the two countries.<br \/>\nThe deteriorating situation of the occupied Palestinian territories also came up during the meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, April 16 (Online): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Pakistan&#8217;s desire to further enhance bilateral cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the fields of trade and investment.
