{"id":102191,"date":"2024-02-19T23:00:50","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T18:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/?p=102191"},"modified":"2024-02-19T17:15:24","modified_gmt":"2024-02-19T12:15:24","slug":"ec-issues-notice-to-ijaz-ul-haq","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/en\/pakistan-news\/ec-issues-notice-to-ijaz-ul-haq\/","title":{"rendered":"EC issues notice to Ijaz ul Haq"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, FEB 19 (Online): Election Commission (EC) has issued notice to Ijaz Ul Haq ,  successful candidate from NA -163 Bahawalnagar during  hearing of the election  petition .<\/p>\n<p>The court adjourned the hearing of the case till February 27. <\/p>\n<p>A two members bench of EC comprising member KP Ikram Ullah and member Balochistan Muhammad Shah Jatoi heard the election  petition Monday. <\/p>\n<p>Shaukat Basra, the candidate who lost the  election brought with him the Holy Quran. He said he swears on the Holy \tQuran he had won the election. <\/p>\n<p>Member KP said you should not swear on the Holy Quran. There is separate place for it. <\/p>\n<p>Shaukat Basra said he swears RO did not call him while compiling result. You issued notification of Ijaz Ul Haq before the decision of the case.
