Mumbai-January 24 (Online): Bollywood legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty has bashed Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi over closure of business during coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, the actor said, “Covid has affected all of us very badly. It is not just me but everyone has been affected at some level during the last two years.”
“I am a businessman also and I have chain of hotels and there have been times when my hotels couldn’t even sell a cup of coffee because the business was badly hit due to coronavirus,” he said.

“The sad part is we did not have any support from the government. The tourism and hospitality industry was badly affected,” he added.
“We are such a huge popular of 1.40 crores and just imagine how would the daily wage workers be surviving? Unke baare mein soch ke rooh kaanp jaati hai… (my soul shivers when I think of them),” Chakraborty colcluded.
