Kashmiris on both sides of the line of control, Pakistan and around the world observed Indian Republic Day

Muzaffarabad(PID 26 January 2022 Kashmiris on both sides of the line of control ,Pakistan and around the world observed Indian Republic Day on Wednesday, 26th of January as a black day to draw the world attention towards unresolved Kashmiri dispute and gruesome human rights violations by the Indian forces on Kashmiri people in occupied Kashmir .
Protest procession, public meetings and protest rallies were held at all divisional and district levels of Azad Kashmir to invite the world attention towards unresolved Kashmir dispute and non implementation of United Nations resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.

In this connection a protest rally was held here on Wednesday led by Azad Kashmir Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Khawaja Muhammad Farooq Ahmed. Chairman Prime Minister’s Inspection and Implementation Commission Raja Mansoor Khan, Parliamentary Secretary for Elementary, Secondary and Higher Education Prof.
Taqdis Gilani, Parliamentary Secretary Pir Syed Mazhar Saeed and Shaukat Javed. Mir, Uzair Ghazali, Mushtaqul Islam and others also attended the rally .
On this occasion, black balloons were released into the air. The rally was attended by a large number of women, students, refugees, lawyers and people belonging to all walks of life. The rally started from Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk and terminated at Ghari Pin Chowk.

Addressing a protest rally The Minister for local government and rural development Khawaja Farooq Ahmed strongly condemned the Indian forces atrocities on Kashmiri people and urged the United Nations to fulfill its commitment with the Kashmiri people and implement its agreed resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir for granting the Kashmiri people their fundamental right to self determination.
He urged all the political parties of Azad Kashmir to collectively work to expose the ugly face of India. He said that India was committing human rights violations in occupied Kashmir and is also engaged in massacring the youth, women, children and the elderly people.
He called upon the international community not to be a silent spectator and to play its role in giving them the right to self-determination. Khawaja Farooq Ahmed said that the day is not far off when Kashmiris will celebrate Pakistan Independence Day together.
Addressing the protest rally, Prof. Taqdis Gilani, Parliamentary Secretary for Elementary, Secondary and Higher Education, said that India is a killer of Kashmiris and a brutal country. She said that the day is not far when the dark night of oppression would end and Kashmiri would get their internationally recognized right to self determination.
Addressing the rally the other speakers called upon the United Nations and international human rights organisations to use their influence to stop atrocities on Kashmiris. They said India is deceiving the world by pretending to be the largest democracy in the world.
They expressed the hope that the day is not far when the dawn of freedom will rise and long night of terror and repressions would end and Kashmiri will get their fundamental right to self determination. They said that despite Indian repressions Kashmiris are determined to continue their struggle till the achievement of goal of liberation
